Research and Development

Shenzhen Wuzhoulong has been contributing itself to development and manufacturing of  evironment-friendly vehicles since its establishment. At present, Wuzhoulong owns a wide range of automobile products, covering tourist bus, city bus, sleeper coach and some special purpose vehicles, such as medical vehicle, school bus and recreational vehicle, nearly 140 models of which have been listed in the national public announcement. Based on the production of efficient common fuel buses like diesel bus, LNG bus,LPG bus and CNG bus, Wuzhoulong also keeps working on the study and development of hybrid buses, which are characterized by extremely low fuel consumption as well as emission, with the cooperation with scientific research institutions of Mainland China, Hongkong and Singapore.
We have successfully developed many models of hybrid buses with millions of capital spent on R & D in recent years and dozens of items of our patents have been approved by the Chinese government, including "Hybrid Electric Diesel Bus", "Electrical Clutch", "Hybrid Bus Conversion Air Conditioner", etc. Our R & D on hybrid electric diesel bus is authorized as the demonstration project of Shenzhen hybrid industry. In November of 2005, our hybrid bus project was listed in the "863 High-tech Plan of China". Wuzhoulong hybrid buses adopt both diesel/natural gas system and battery unit system with three modes of connection, the serial, paralleled and series paralleled, show the perfect union of environment protection, energy saving and humanity. The exhaust emission of hybrid bus can even meet the Euro IV Emission Standard; besides, the independently-driven engine and electric motor as well as the newly-added electric-braking system help our HEV to run significantly more safely and dependably. In 2005 National Bus Competition, two of our hybrid models were awarded as "the Best Environment-Protective Bus". In the world-class occasion, BAAV Awards 2007, Wuzhoulong FDG6111HEVG won the prize of "Green Bus of the Year". We will persevere with our research and development and never stop!
